Travalo adds smartphone case to perfume spray range - The Moodie Davitt Report

Travalo has extended its range of perfume sprays and atomisers with the Perphone, a smartphone case which includes a refillable fragrance spray.

Genie-S Vice President Ralph Bou Nader said the prototype Perphone, which was unveiled at this year’s TFWA World Exhibition, attracted “huge” interest at the show.

“It’s a product that has us buzzing,” he said. “We have pre-ordered 100,000 pieces. I believe it is going to be popular everywhere and open up new channels of distribution for us.”

The Perphone will be available in travel retail in March, with a US$22 to US$25 price range. “This product will let us tackle all markets,” Nader said.

Crystal clear: Travalo intends to extend its Swarovski range

Final design details are still under development but Nader said the Perphone would be available in several colours and designs, from entry level to premium products with leather cases.

At Cannes Travalo also presented updated colour options for its Milano and Classic ranges of refillable atomisers. The brand aims to extend its Swarovski range and to launch a collection for men, featuring more masculine shapes.

Nader underlined Travalo’s continued development of co-branding opportunities. He said the brand was focusing on Latin and North America for expansion in local and travel retail channels.
