Police: Woman said she “just put the perfume in my purse and walked out” - Beaumont Enterprise

A Beaumont woman with 29 theft convictions was indicted on another felony theft charge Wednesday.

Regina Carrier, 35, was seen by a Stage Stores employee grabbing a pink box of Coach Perfumed Body and Spray set and concealing in her purse, according to an arrest affidavit.

The employee watched the woman, who is known by the alias Regina George, pass each cash register and walk out without paying before stopping her 15 feet outside the store, the affidavit said.

George reportedly told the arresting officer she "just put the perfume in my purse and walked out" without paying, the affidavit said.
