There's something I need to share with you all, a secret that I have tried so desperately to hide but am finally ready to admit to both myself, and the world.

I am a basic bitch.

I love doing #autumnal things, I have a glittery pumpkin phone case, I can't wait to get my Uggs out again this winter, I love Ryan Gosling and regularly watch The Notebook when I need a little cry, I have bought a Kylie Jenner Lip Kit (and a KKW Contour Stick) and wow, this is harder to say out loud then I thought, but I've used the phrase "I can't even" more than once.

But one person who is encouraging us to embrace our inner Basic Bitch is perfumer, Killian Wells.

Described as the Damien Hirst of the perfume world, you won't find Killian creating your run of the mill sweet/floral scents. Instead his perfume brand Xyrena is designed to bring back certain memories and transport you to a different time and place altogether.

Killian is known for his unique scent inspirations, which include the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disney World. A scent he wanted to replicate in order to combine his love of water rides and the smell of chlorine. Or that fresh out the box trainer smell, which he managed to recreate for his Sneakerhead fragrance.
