We've seen Presidential Campaign inspired dog toys, skis, Vermont Teddy Bears, and now... perfume.
Lauren Andrews, who owns Aro-Med Aromatherapy on State Street in Montpelier, has created a "Nasty Woman" organic perfume.
The term has gone viral ever since the third and final Presidential Debate. Andrews says the perfume is meant to pay tribute to "all strong women regardless of their political affiliation".
"One benefit is, I think these issues of sexual discrimination and misogyny are really coming to the forefront and I think we're realizing it's much more of an issues than maybe we had realized. At this point women are realizing we've had enough. It's time to really address it," said Andrews.
"Nasty Woman" costs 20-dollars and 16 cents. According to Aro-Med's webpage, the perfume features, "aromatic plants that energetically encompass the qualities you see in a proud "Nasty Woman." Enjoy the calm confidence of wild lavender, balancing clary sage, sexy jasmine absolute, warmth of cardamom and courage of laurel leaf. It also features the spicy base note of clove bud and grounding vetiver."
Proceeds from the perfume are going to the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network. The anti-sexual assault organization works with local rape crisis centers across the U.S.
