JEFF Brazier has revealed his heartbreak after his son Fred was snubbed from a birthday party after giving his classmate a touching present.

The 12-year-old gave his female school friend a bottle of his late mother’s perfume as a gift, only to then find out he wasn’t invited to her bash.

Jeff told his Twitter followers: “Felt for Fred today. He got a girl at school some of his Mums perfume for her birthday only to find out he wasn’t invited to her party.”

Big Brother star Jade passed away in 2009 following a short battle with cervical cancer, aged just 27.

As his followers rallied around Jeff, who’s also dad to Bobby, 14, he continued: “Sharing his Mum in any form is the highest gesture he could offer.

“It was more a specific numbers thing I think so not to be taken to heart.”

Earlier this month the TV star turned grief counsellor revealed he was engaged to his long term girlfriend Kate Dwyer.

Speaking to Hello! Magazine, Jeff revealed he had spoken to the boys at length about his proposal and admitted they were both excited about the idea of him getting down on one knee in Ibiza.

Jeff explained: “Both boys were intrigued by how it would work, how I’d do it.

“They said, ‘What will you do, Dad, if she says no?’ I said, ‘I don’t want to be complacent, but I think we’re alright’.”

Jeff explained there were “a hundred different ways" he could have proposed but he ended up going for a natural and spontaneous proposal.

He revealed: “We walked out to the end of a jetty and sat on a wall that formed a harbour for the local fishing boats. Kate talked about how special the moment was, how relaxed and happy she felt, and I thought, ‘Let’s do it now’.”

Jeff continued: “I told her I loved her, and had been thinking about this for a while. I pulled the box with the ring out from my back pocket and asked if she would marry me. It was a very special moment.”
